If you haven’t seen Doubt yet, you’re missing out. Meryl Streep and Philip Seymour Hoffman give powerful, moving performances that highlight their incredible talents. Amy Adams shows her serious side through a nearly perfect performance as the unfortunate sister stuck between two strong-willed superiors. Although the subject matter is controversial and the film boasts more than a lot of symbolism, it is easily one of the best movies of 2008.

Thanks Ellen for the heads up!
Will rent Doubt this week—–Thanks Ellen
You’re welcome, of course! I will give you the teeny- tiniest spoiler, though.. The tremendous use of symbolism in this movie does leave you having to draw your own conclusions about what really happened here. Good flick, though. I hope you enjoy it!
Thanks Ellen. I wasn’t sure if this would be a good one as it didn’t last in the theathers very long.
It’s definitely worth watching, let us know what you think about it!
I really want to see this.
