Hey everybody! I just wanted to drop our readers a quick note regarding our scheduled maintenance tonight. We’ve been digging through the feedback you’ve left, and will be implementing a few site-side changes that should make navigation and credit redemption easier.
We’re also going to be dropping the ‘beta’ tag tonight, as Metrglow will be going live to the general public tonight after our maintenance window. Expect more daily content, including guides to your favorite restaurants, night spots and entertainment venues. We look forward to working with our readers to continue to raise the bar for entertainment guides in the OKC metro. With your help, we’ll show those other entertainment guides who’s boss!
Speaking of your help, if you’re interested in contributing your local wisdom, drop by the employment page and fill out the form. We’re always looking to add writers to our stellar team; why shouldn’t it be you?

I hope the change over goes smoothly. I would hate to see this site down for even a second.
Alright, wonderful readers, we’re back. My apologies to anyone that tried to login during the last hour, we had one snafu to clear up. Everything should be up and running now.
If you have any problems, don’t hesitate to leave us feedback. We’re here to help!
Yea for new Stuff!!!! But you might wanna check your CSS Lorien? The link to your name in the comment section is White. and VERY hard to see. Check your Visited link and hover color id venture to say its #FFFFFF.
Oh Lorien, also too on the Main Page the new Widget you made on the Right Sidebar has FFFFF set for Visted links as well im assuming all the links are white in that new Widget.
Thanks for the input, Sammy. Which browser are you using, and can you refresh your cache for me?
FF3, Refreshing now.
Cleared Ye Ole Cache. and all Visited Links in your new Widget are still White. Just the ones Ive Clicked on. Im saving the FAQ links for further link testing
Ok I Turned on my CSS Viewer. and your Tag visted is set to F7F7FF and your non-visited is FF9900 Hopfully that helps some. Lemme browse in IE and see what ye ole browser does there. Doh! I forgot. I Uninstalled IE. Lemme look in Opera and Chrome. Same in chrome and Opera. all links turn White once clicked
That makes more sense, as I was having a hard time figuring our how FFF made it into our CSS. We never use white, so it through me off.
Oh its not just the widget.. its the comment area too. Basically any link so far best i can tell. Yes sir. Im afraid its any link that isnt white already. if its blue it turns white. if its white, it stays white.
Oh and you can take credit away from me, This is kinda cheating lol. To use FF and IE css in a theme you basically use a php if then statement and have 2 sections of CSS. umm. I can pull an example out of my site if ya need me too. You use PHP to detect the browser (or wordpress api can do it too i think) and based on that you can tell it to use to replace certain sections of the css.
Yep. Same for me. Any visited link is now virtually white. It makes more since now that it is being discussed here. I had this problem this morning. I hope it get’s fixed soon.
Another thing, When I click on my profile, the login utility asks me to connect to facebook. When I navigate back to the home page, it changes back to my logged in status. Same thing happens when I look at other people’s profiles.
Thanks Zach, We’ll get ‘em both sorted!
Lorien you so Rock. Links are fixed. We need to have a sit down sometime. I Found some great tools you have probably seen me post on Facebook. ping.FM and Ubiquity for Firefox. SOO Awesome stuff.
