Saving Sense: Stretch Your Grocery Dollars
April 2nd, 2009 at 12:05 pmI agree with Sammy, the bagged cereal is just as good. We’ve been buying Wal-Mart brands for years now. The only things we splurge on now are generally baking ingredients — we found the cheaper stuff is sometime hit or miss, and no-one want my cake to be a ‘miss.’

April 1st, 2009 at 11:57 amThanks Zach, We’ll get ‘em both sorted!

April 1st, 2009 at 11:33 amThat makes more sense, as I was having a hard time figuring our how FFF made it into our CSS. We never use white, so it through me off.

April 1st, 2009 at 11:09 amThanks for the input, Sammy. Which browser are you using, and can you refresh your cache for me?

April 1st, 2009 at 1:17 amAlright, wonderful readers, we’re back. My apologies to anyone that tried to login during the last hour, we had one snafu to clear up. Everything should be up and running now.
If you have any problems, don’t hesitate to leave us feedback. We’re here to help!
Welcome to Metroglow!
March 31st, 2009 at 10:00 amWe’re going to be rolling out a cleaner ’sidebar’ this afternoon, it should make it easier to find the important stuff. We appreciate your feedback, however!
Your opinion counts!
March 30th, 2009 at 5:02 pmNo, it’s definitely not as geeky! As a uber-geek myself, it was a hard decision to make.
The Metroglow Store is now open!
March 29th, 2009 at 6:58 pmHa! We’ve found that most people tend to behave themselves, since we only allow users to comment once they’ve connected through Facebook. We do have a three strike policy in our Terms of Service, however, that’s included for just that problem.
The Metroglow Store is now open!
March 28th, 2009 at 10:16 pmYep! As soon as I get back to the great state of Oklahoma we’ll be filming a new version. Hopefully this one won’t take 14 hours to produce!
Don't Hurt That Dog! It's Only Trying to Kill You.

March 24th, 2009 at 1:51 pmThis makes me believe that PETA stumbled across ‘videogames’ sometime last week. Ridiculous!

Resident Evil 5 'Versus' DLC confirmed
March 16th, 2009 at 8:33 pmAlthough it’s ridiculous to push this so soon after the game’s launch, at least it’s only five bucks.
Peggle bounces its way to XBLA
March 14th, 2009 at 5:56 pmFine! This is an EXCELLENT article, Justen.
DVD New Releases: March 17
March 14th, 2009 at 1:35 amYou mean your “we’re crazy to go to Mexico now” trip to Mexico?
You have a good point about the VOD, though. Aside from RedBox, 90% of our movie watching is done via some form of on demand service. I think the pundits are right by guessing that the “last disc” is probably BluRay.
Friday Phone Games: Tower Defense
March 14th, 2009 at 1:28 amYou should check out Tap Defense, I think you would enjoy it. I believe there were around 20 Apps that returned on my “Tower Defense” search yesterday when I was researching. It’s a neat genre that many people have never heard of.
Thanks for the link!
DVD New Releases: March 17
March 14th, 2009 at 1:26 amCome on my man, what are you waiting for — your eyes DEMAND the high def goodness that only Sony can provide. All the cool kids are doing it, jump on the bandwagon!

Get sneak preview passes for The International
March 11th, 2009 at 5:15 pmYou’ve come to the right place, Natalie! We should be posting new tickets in the next week — there’s been a short supply from the PR company. We’ll definitely be posting them to the home page when they are available.
Welcome to Metroglow!
March 4th, 2009 at 10:53 pmSorry, Charles! We had to move our plans up a bit to respond to a slower advertisement economy in Oklahoma. We’re on more solid ground now, however.
I’ve got two new movies on the radar today, so keep your eyes peeled for those soon — we’ll have them up as soon as we get ‘em.
